Allen was a syndicated business columnist for Tribune Media Services, producing the well-known column “Business Success.” His personal business experiences, which allowed him to retire at age 45, and his experiences interviewing private business owners across the United States while producing his column, convinced him of the need for a business such as TAB. His intuition has proven correct, and Allen continues to keep his finger on the pulse of small and mid-sized business owners in the Western Hemisphere.
